The drum and bass scene is looking strong. From the sweaty recesses of the grimiest jump-up raves to chart-topping, ad-soundtracking mainstream acceptance, 2015 has shown that this music has the full spectrum covered. And Technique Recordings, as always, has been up there at the forefront of the movement. This compilation, drawn from Technique’s releases over the year, is here to confirm that point.
Gradual talk us through their Top 5 tracks of the year to celebrate the release of ‘Drum & Bass Annual’ by Technique.
Noisia & The Upbeats – Dead Limit
A track that should be in all the top lists. It’s incredible, perfection does it for us right now and it’s definitely our number 1.
InsideInfo & Mefjus – Leibniz
We love how they make these incredible tracks with a distinctive sound with a such simple drum patterns, and saturated bass. Amazing!
Neonlight & Wintermute – Influx
Beep Beep Beep. Nice introduction that falls on a terrible stab bass and pure neonlight drums style. Definitely one of our favorite artists!
Misanthrop – I Need More
We need more of this! Amazings tracks! Incredible sound that fits perfectly into any mix.
Piano chords turning into a malefic arpeggiator, till the drop sets in with kicks and claps. Amazing sound, amazing design, amazing track.
